How we got started!
Estariol Technology Group is a video solutions company based out of southwest Minnesota. We help clients reach their highly defined target audience through innovative videos. Our goal is to create videos that speak directly to your audience and move them to take action! We have worked on a wide range of projects spanning governmental, educational and business organizations.
Formed in May of 2010, Estariol Technology Group grew out of a passion of Lucas Bryce, a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University. Originally a hobby, video production became his passion throughout his later years in college. Gaining experience everywhere he could, he led many on-campus video projects and developed new video products for the restaurant he co-owns in Springfield, MN.

Our new office!
Solar Drive-In: Video Case Study
We just finished up three fun, short videos with the “Solar Drive-In” located in Springfield MN (www.solardrive-in.com). In the video, we talk about different benefits to using video inside the restaurant, which includes easier upselling, a consistent brand image and using video to stand out from the competition. We got some great shots of the food, customers and interviews with the owners. You can view the videos on our vimeo.com channel at: http://vimeo.com/24164803
We want to thank the Solar so much for allowing us to come in and film so much footage. The goal of these three promotional videos, is to spread the word that video is a perfect fit inside the industry. There are so many different ways that companies can use video inside their property to promote themselves! In a few short years expect to see this kind of technology creep into your favorite restaurants and hopefully we’ll be the ones who filmed it!
Link and follow the Solar on facebook, they are doing some amazing thing there!
Completed our First Wedding Video
This past month we had the opportunity to film our very first wedding video. (View it here!) The location was in Minneapolis, MN and the shoot included two ceremonies. One traditional Christian ceremony followed by a Laotian ceremony before the reception. It was excellent learning experience for us, and definitely tested our filming “chops“. By the end of the night, we were fully depleted and we had captured over 7 hours worth of footage! (Yes, we sorted through all seven hours while editing!)
The editing was fairly straight forward. We decided to try and condense the full day’s footage down to one song length. For the song, we choose “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars because wonderful lyrics and beat. We then began to pick through the footage, sifting the best shots through. We had shot interviews with both the Bride and Groom at the beginning of the day, so we know we wanted to include those somewhere in the video. The shots are pretty close to chronological order, though towards the end of the video we begin to switch things up because we wanted to save the best for last (official kiss and first dance).
Another challenge that we were able to overcome were the vows. Originally, the minister would say the vows then the Bride and Groom would repeat them. Well we didn’t want the minister’s voice in there, so we cut all his narration, and then re-syncopated the pacing of this lines to sound like they were speaking from memory. It was a good way to practice our audio editing techinques and the end product turned out nice!
Leisure Gamer Event – New Ulm Career Expo
Our first Leisure Gamer event ever! We traveled to New Ulm, MN to take part in the 2011 Career Expo. The purpose of the event was to show high school students, the possibile career opportunities available to them in Brown County. Sophmores from over 7 different high schools came to the expo to view various businesses/non-profits and see how they could live and work in the area after graduation. It was a successful event, and we had a booth for Estariol Technology Group, and showcased our “Leisure Gamer” brand.
To make our booth interactive, we had some students play, record, and edit their own gameplay right at the event! There were alot of students who expressed interest in our business, and it was fun to show them the opportunities to become an entrepreneur and how it is possible to start their own businesses around their interests and passions. After the students edited their footage, we promised we would upload their videos to YouTube, so they could share it with their friends. We posted two videos from the event and you can check out the videos here. We had a great time, and look forward to another LGN event!
Do you want to have a video for your organization, but can’t decide how to get started?
No worries, Estariol walks you through step by step! No two projects are alike, and during this phase we will help you bring your project to life. Some of the questions we guide you through include 1) Who is your target audience? 2) What do you want people to remember about your product, service or organization after watching your video? 3) How would you measure the success of your video?
If you are interested in creating a video, but don’t know how to get started, we would enjoy talking with you. Send us an email or give us a call. You can find our contact information in the “Contact Us” section.
Alright, so you have your concept planned out, now it’s time to start planning what exactly you want inside your video.
During this phase we work with you to write the script to the video to make sure we cover everything once it comes time to actually film your video. Estariol can handle all of your script writing for you, or we will work with you side-by-side to draft a script that will lay the groundwork for an outstanding video!
In this phase we also make sure we have all the props, talent and locations ready when it comes time to film. If all this sounds scary to you, don’t worry we’ll take care of it for you!
Now comes the time to actually film your video.
On the day(s) of your shoot Estariol arrives with cameras in-hand to capture everything that will really make your video shine!
We also offer day and half-day rates in case you don’t need help with any of the other phases and just need coverage of your event. Feel free to use the “Contact Us” section of the website to inquire about our day rates.
Okay, your entire video has been filmed, but it needs to be stitched together to form a presentation that will resonate with your target audience.
In the post production phase we sort through and edit the footage that will best illustrate your product, service or organization. Once all the components of the video have been edited together, we will send you a draft, where you will have the opportunity to view your video for the first time! From this draft you will be able to tell us the changes we can tweak in order to make a video that you and your audience love.
Once we compile all the changes it’s time to distribute the video. This might be through viral promotion (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.), hosted on your website, or burned to a DVD for easy access to the video. Then comes the exciting part, sharing the video with your audience!
Similar to the other phases, we do offer stand alone rates for editing, graphic design, DVD production or motion graphics. Please use the “Contact Us” section in order to get a hold of us and described your project needs. We look forward to speaking with you!
